Wanna eat cookie dough?

And I do.
Sometimes I eat cookie dough at 10am in between breakfast and lunch. Sometimes I eat cookie dough at 10pm because I'm a rule breaker like that.
Sometimes I kind of never feel guilty about it.
Remember, I'm not a food blogger (like her who created this genius recipe- I just added protein) full of glorious food pictures. Remembered.
Clean Cookie Dough Protein Bites
quick or old fashioned oats- 3/4 cup
raw honey- 1/4 cup
unsalted, unsweetened peanut butter- 1/3 cup
unsweetened coconut flakes- 1/3 cup
2 scoops protein powder
unsweetened almond milk- a splash/just enough to mix everything up
chocolate chips (or cacao pieces)- 1/4 cup
vanilla extract and almond extract (1 tsp)
Mix everything up in the bowl and divide up into little balls.
Place on a cookie sheet and refrigerate for 15 minutes, then devour :)

Sounds delicious. Not gonna lie though...the "real" cookie dough looks sooooooooooooooooo delicious.
ReplyDeleteI am DEFINITELY trying this recipe! NOM!! Maybe I will freeze them so it takes a litttttle while longer to devour them ;)
ReplyDeleteI know right? I just pretend that's what I'm eating. I lie to myself like that.

From one cookie dough lover to another, these babies look amazing! Totally making these tonight! ;)
ReplyDeleteYum. I love this. I am making my grocery list now and apparently coconut is on it. Everything else is in the cupboard. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteI sent this post to my hubby...he made these for me on date night and we love them! We've been putting single servings in little tupperware containers and sticking them in the freezer. Then we take them to the gym, and post workout they're unfrozen but still cold. AWESOME!
ReplyDeleteDo you blend everything like in a food processor?
ReplyDeleteTrying these gluten free (it's the Quaker Oats Oatmeal that makes it not gluten free. Cross contamination issues).
ReplyDeleteAnyway, this looks AMAZING. Putting this on the shopping list.
I made a patch of these for my family last week (minus the protein powder), instead of buying cookies. It was a big hit. Thanks for posting :)
